Unlike many coaching programs, this program will place an emphasis on the coach’s grounding and ability to act as a facilitator to insight. You will not learn recipes to follow as they to often interfere with your ability to use one’s intuition, to remain present with and responsive to the client and to be comfortable working in a space of not knowing – all ICF core competencies. Tools and exercises are taught in traditional coach training programs to help beginners feel comfortable with their coaching. We will focus on teaching you how okay and perfectly designed you are to create impact without following preset exercises. You will learn to distinguish deep shifts vs prescribed results. And you will have the opportunity to be deeply impacted in your life.

Synchronous Learning, real-time interaction with faculty and other participants will be completed online via Zoom. Total = 55.5 hours

• 3 – 2.5-day weekends at 15 hours per module = 45 hours

• 5 – 90-minute mentorship sessions = 7.5 hours

• 3 – one-to-one mentorship sessions = 3 hours

Asynchronous learning: self-paced online training modules, coaching triads, reading, and independent study. Total = 19.5 hours

• 2 Triads at 2 hours each = 4 hours

Accreditation Level 1 – Graduates may apply for the ACC Credential

• 80% of the content will focus on the ICF Core Competencies

• The mentorship portion of the program must span over a minimum of 3 months.

• You will be observed coaching at least 5 times and will receive written feedback for 3 of these sessions.

• The final performance evaluation must, at a minimum, contain an actual observation of coaching at least 20 minutes to one hour in length which is graded as a final performance evaluation.

From the ICF website: “Organizations who submit an application for accreditation will receive an official communication from ICF upon the program’s accreditation. The organization accreditation start date will be the date the application was submitted for review. If the education and training offering has only been held once by the organization, ICF will retroactively approve the program’s first graduating class into the organization’s accreditation.”

Only 10 spots are available and we will need to have a minimum of 6 people enrolled to run the pilot. The ICF requires that we have a graduating class of at least 5 people in order to be accredited.

• You will be required to complete a pilot evaluation survey.

• You will need to sign a form granting us permission to release your recordings to the ICF for the program accreditation process.

• Your initial course certificates will not reflect the ICF accreditation given we cannot apply for it before the pilot program is completed. But once the accreditation is received, you will receive a new certificate which reflects the ICF accreditation. Then, you will be eligible to apply for your ACC accreditation (assuming you have accumulated your ICF required 100 coaching hours).

No - the ICF requires that you meet a certain level of attendance and that you pass a performance evaluation. If for any reason you do not attend class, complete your asynchronous learning or pass the performance evaluation, you will not be granted a certificate.

No. Your tuition amount is not contingent on pass or fail. However, we are dedicated at helping you succeed and will offer you additional mentor sessions and an opportunity to redo your performance assessment at cost.

Cancellation of a course must be made a minimum of 30 days prior to the course start date to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the course are not eligible for a refund. Refunds will be made within 15 days following receipt of written cancellation or withdrawal requests.
