Embracing Freedom: Unleashing Your True Potential

Recently, I made a big change in my business. I made a conscious decision to break free from the limiting thoughts and embrace a new way of showing up—unapologetically me. It feels incredibly liberating! This transformative shift allowed me to realize how fear, and the weight of expectations, particularly those associated with professional standards, had hindered my ability to create and make a real impact in the world. Discouraging thoughts and a preoccupation with right versus wrong had become roadblocks on my path. But I let them go and now I am open to all the possible ways that I can effectively have a greater impact in the world.

I feel this burst of creative energy brewing within me, like a dormant volcano finally erupting, patiently waiting for permission to unleash its power. And the more I get out of my own head, the more I let myself play, the more excited I become about the results I get. Honestly, I could never have anticipated or believed the amazing things I can achieve with so much ease.

So, how did I accomplish this transformation? It was not an overnight occurrence. You see, my thoughts surrounding career and professionalism had become so habitual they were almost a blind spot. Therefore, I didn't start by addressing those directly. The journey began years ago when I started questioning other more apparent thoughts about parenting, relationships, personal appearance, and even leisure activities. By observing how I respond to my thoughts and becoming more aware of my free will, I set off a ripple effect that reverberated through every aspect of my life. I discovered how free I can be despite my habits and patterns.

As humans, we're wired to think. It's how we experience life. But here's the thing—we're not slaves to our thoughts. We have the power to choose how we respond to them. Thoughts come to us, through us, and beyond us. We are not accountable for their creation; rather, we are conscious of them as they arise. And most importantly, we are not our thoughts.s they arise. And most importantly, we are not our thoughts.

Unfortunately, many of us believe that our thoughts are a true reflection of the world around us. And that's where we get stuck. We feel compelled to react to them, and it perpetuates a cycle of suffering, as we become victims of our own thoughts—believing we have no choice. But how can this be true?

We are all presented with opportunities to choose between thoughts, and we are always free to experience happiness, peace, and contentment. Freedom is not something to be earned, created, lost, or found—it is constant. The only hindrance to experiencing it is thought. You know, those pesky thoughts that hold you back. The "I can't", “I should” or "I'll never be good enough" kind of thoughts. Or the ones that make you worry about what others will think or how to meet expectations. Yeah, those thoughts. They act like roadblocks, stopping you from feeling free. But here's the truth—they're just lies. Lies that seem so real and important to us that we unwittingly go along with them.

The more we recognize that thoughts are illusions we employ to navigate the external world, the less power they hold over us, and the freer we become to express our true selves. We can choose which thoughts deserve our energy and attention, which ones serve us well and which ones are best left behind. Thoughts flow through us when we refrain from grasping onto them. Therefore, there is no need to actively summon fresh thoughts; it's a matter of honoring their fluidity and allowing them to naturally change.

Keep in mind that no thought is inherently good or bad. It's like the concept of different paths—there are no good or bad ones. Some will lead us to our desired destination, others may create detours, and some may even take us to entirely unexpected places. It's all part of the journey. Thoughts operate in the same manner. Some thoughts serve us well, propelling us in a desired direction, while others deter us from reaching our goals. And occasionally, certain thoughts take us to uncharted territories, revealing new possibilities along with a genuine sense of freedom.

I found ease in transitioning my business as I am no longer bogged down by the same limiting thoughts. Yes – I still experience them from time to time but I now exercise my free will in how I respond to them.  And best of all, having made space for it, I get to play with fresh new thinking.

I look forward to seeing what emerges through me in the coming months and years, and I also look forward to help others experience true freedom more effortlessly, allowing them to give even more of themselves to the world.

Remember, you are so much more than your thoughts.
